The Yorba Linda Chapter of the Guidance Project is dedicated to providing advice on course selection and extracurricular choices at Yorba Linda High School, aimed at preparing students effectively for college applications. This initiative brings in guest speakers from diverse fields, including art and computer science majors, to share their personal experiences at Yorba Linda High School and offer insights into the strategies they employed to secure admission to their dream colleges.
Irvine
The Irvine Chapter of the Guidance Project is committed to supporting students in their academic and career journeys. It introduces students to Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, offering guidance on course selection and excellence within these programs. Additionally, it provides valuable insights into college major choices through workshops and expert advice. The project also emphasizes the importance of extracurricular activities, offering information on the diverse opportunities available at SMCHS to help students develop essential life skills while preparing for college.
